Injector replacement

Someone posted a very detailed method(good pictures) on how to replace a rear fuel injector without totally removing the intake manifold. I cant find it. Also is it normal for the new injector to have a different style than the old one. the new one has the mesh part lower than the old one.I got the nissan one O.E.M. #16600-96E00.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to replace the rear injectors without removing the Intake plenum. Just take it off and use that as an opportunity to also clean it all out.

It might be possible to just remove the front 4 bolts that bolt the upper manifold to the lower intake manifold, and disconnect the intake pipe from the throttle body. The manifold bolts in the rear connect to straps that are flexible enough so that it might be possible to lift the upper intake up far enough to get at the rear injectors. Maybe. But it's not a whole lot of extra effort to just take the upper intake manifold off altogether.
