Sarona Grille v2 install
hey guys,
i called custommaxima and redlinemax today but they're both closed. i am hoping somebody here can help me out, especially if you have the v2 grille from sarona.
i test fitted the grille earlier today and found a problem with the four tabs on the grille the stick out to attach to the four tabs on the headlight housings.
the bottom grille tabs fit over the bottom headlight tabs perfectly. but the tabs on top stike the top headlight tabs midcenter and are too wide to snap in. i hope i haven't confused anyone. looks like some cutting will be required, either on the grille or the headlight housing. its a good thing i havent painted the grill yet.
if you have a v2 sarona grille and know how to get around this, please help me. its saturday here and i was hoping to get this done this weekend.

is the V2 the one that looks like the Stillen aka "pontiac" grille?
cause if it is, you should get the Stillen one, the urethane fits perfect with no modification at all. I know because when i had a '96 front end i had that grille.

i visited two body shops today, both told me its going to take time and money to make this grille fit, not to mention the paint job. i already paid $160 for this thing, why should i spend more just to make it fit? this thing is going back to its vendor. on the flipside, instead of going to my just-plain-stock grille, i got its side posts painted to match and the middle bar black. looks awesome. now i need to take some pics and update my cardomain page. i havent put up any new pics for almost a year!
