Intake + Y-pipe problems?

Has anybody here had a Y pipe and intake installed and had their check engine light come on afterwards?

That a nice pile of BS. I have had my Y pipe on for a year now and just put on an intake two months ago and have had no problems what so ever, and no CEL.

Just remember to connect the air temp sensor from the top of the stock air box and you'll be fine. Reset the ECU after the install.

ugh...if you install everything correctly there shouldn't be any CEL.

Just disconnect your battery overnight and reconnect the next day This'll clear your ECU and give you a "fresh" start.

Your CEL may trip if an O2 sensor gets dirty or damaged during the Y-pipe installation. If they're dirty, just wipe them down with isopropyl alcohol or fuel injector cleaner.
