I noticed the other day that Infinity J30 headlights look similar to our 4G maxima headlights in shape? i HAVE NOT taken a very close/detailed look at them, but thought i'd post the question anyway? has anyone every looked into transplanting the J30 Projector headlights onto a maxima?

Perhaps i had a poor angle on them? they looked similar to me. anyways, thanks for responding.

Someone has put projectors on a 4th gen max, but they were from a junked ES300 IIRC. The link is somewhere on Jeff K's page.

I just love the look of the J30. I dunno why they discontinued it to build the I30.
Nissan is just stupid. They develop a distinct looking car in the J30, but they don't want to continue this legacy.
Same thing with Lexus. They scrapped the recognizable LS400 look just to become a S-class ripoff. Acura also scrapped the Legend brand name, just to make the names sound more european. I just don't get it.
There is no continuity between models for japanese cars.
They can't even stick to a grille design. Even change it within same model.
