Where did you order the ECU & for how much? Post track times or dyno results when possible.

Next mod for me is Under Drive Pulley.

Had a y-pipe but did not car for it.
too loud for me, internally that is.
I heard way too much engine/exhaust noise inside.
Outside was nice though.

I was told by my local tuner that JWT informed him that they do not make an ECU upgrade for a 95SE w/auto. Is this true?

Don't think so, because your car has OBD III program. I believe that Aftermarket ECUs are only available for 95-96 maximas. And you can put them in a 97 if you buy a different O2 sensor.

This seems funny to me because, I remember reading about the Eibach maxima in some car mag last month. The article said that the car had custom ecu programming from JWT(sorry to JWT if I named the wrong company)and it was a 5th gen. I'm sure the ecu wasn't made easier to crack on a newer model but I could be wrong. Maybe no one is showing interest in the 98+ Maximas but there are almost as many here as the 95-97 models and i've seen more than a few posts expressing interest in an ecu upgrade. What can we do next?

For us with 98 & 99 models, we arent quite as lucky to have any type of ECU upgrade. Only 95-97. The 97's use either a 95 or 96 ECU swap. The o2 sensor may have to be moved or tampered with.

I just fired off an email to JWT to get a little more info on the situation and to ask if anything can be done for the later model owners. Don't know if i'll get a response since I didn't get one from g-force. But at least i'm trying.
