MTF and coolant- change or no?
I fingered my filler hole today to change my MTF. One question, where the hell is the MTF drain bolt? I found the filler hole, and looking from the diagrams I cant find it anywhere. Anyway, after I fingered the hole, it was all wet, warm and lubed up inside there. I pulled out, and looked at my finger yet the fluid on my finger was still clear. This is making me wonder if I should even bother changing the MTF. After all, the nissan manual states to inspect the trans fluid, not change, even for the more severe condition. The coolant is a similar story, although it might be harder to tell. Opening the radiator cap showed still a nice green color. This car was purchased from Carmax almost 18,000 miles ago, and it is very possible that they changed out all the fluids including the radiator fluid. Only problem is today is sunday and they are closed, so I can't call up and ask. I do not think they changed the spark plugs cause they look like typical 60K plugs.
Since I am lazy, I will enjoy the rest of the day doing nothing and just change the oil and the spark plugs.
So, 2 main questions- should I bother to change the MTF and coolant, and where is the MTF drain bolt?

Alright I found the drain bolt, looking at the fotos on Maximadriver.com. I guess I will change the MTF because I have nothing else better to do, and i seriously doubt carmax woulda put in synthetic (i do have difficulty shifting into 1st while the car is moving). Guess I answered my own question...
The owners manual doesn't say replace the coolant, because the cooling system will last long enough to get through the warrantee. So if you only plan on keeping your car for 70k miles, don't do anything. If you plan on keeping it to 100k miles, without replacing the radiator or water pump, get the system flushed (not just the radiator) and refilled every 2 years. Also, use distilled water to avoid corrosion (this is how the car came from the factory).
