I got my rotors from Maxedup, and my lowering kit from GD.
Now I need a place to do it.

I live in Pasadena. Can anyone tell me where to go, or is anyone willing to help me out. I just wanna save a buck or two. I hate paying rediculouse labor charges.

I'm hoping to pay 100. Probably not realistic, but i gotta try.

Do your rotors yourself. Its really easy. Here is a link that will help out.

You really dont need that many tools.

Chanel Lock Pliers (to compress front caliper piston)
Ratchet w/ 10mm, 12mm and 17mm
Jack and Stands
Four-way or whatever to get wheel lugs off
Rear Caliper Compressor (10 bux at autozone)

I think thats about it.

Few useful tips....

1) remove 10mm bolt from parking brake cable on trailing arm to ease removale from rear caliper.

2) rear caliper piston has 4 notches one notch must line up with alignment pin on brake pad

3) torque member bolts 17mm are a PITA to get loose but just use some force

4) do one side at a time so you have a control to reference if you get lost

5) when compressing caliper pistons loosen the master cylinder cap so that excess pressure does not build up. if you dont you could potentially ruin the master cylinder.

Total time if you dont really know what you are doing....3 hours
