inside of muffler tip is starting to rust...HELP!

i just purchased a OBX type H catback and all of u that have this setup will know what i mean.....when i first bought the exhaust the silencer was already put in.....i had alot of trouble takin it out so i took my car to tires plus and they used air tools to beat the sh*t out of the silencer so it would finally budge out....now that it has been taken off for bout 3 weeks.....the inside of the muffler tip is starting to rust....its suppose to be stainless steel but it looks like its starting to rust out....what can i dO???? it looks like when they used air tools to bend the silencer they accidently scraped part of the metal inside....

what do u guys recommend me doin? touch up paint?

You could clean the rust off and use some clearcoat on that area to seal it.

do you like the sound better with that silencer off? I have the same setup, and I was considering moving it myself. as for your rust, just scrape it off, and get some high temp clear coat

Get some mothers aluminum wax and it will rub right off and it will shine like hell. That is the cheapest way but u will have to do it every once in a while. But im telling u that wax works like magic.
