If they were more bronze, I'd say leave them, but the goldish hue could be off ...

I love gunmetal with the silver lip on white cars. If you're not experienced with painting, couldn't you just return them ?
I have painted a whole vehicle, so I am fine with the act of painting the set of rims. I just would hate to not like whatever color I go with initially and then have to pull them off, dismount the tires, and refinish them (possibly for a second time).

I bought them on eBay, so returning them is out of the question. Plus, I really like the design of the rim.

Now on to the good stuff:

Bright Silver:

GunMetal:

Black: (gloss will still show some reflected highlights)

Bronze:

And my personal favorite.....

I vote for silver as they are classy wheel and deserve a classy treatment.

Thanks for the photoshop job- looks great! I think that the last one will be the winner!

In all seriousness, I am afraid that the darker colors (gunmetal and bronze) will look small on the car. In looking at your pics, it looks like they are teeney tiny in the wheelwells. I30tMikeD warned me that that could happen. As of right now, I may go as-is or POSSIBLY polish the lip and do a brighter silver.

Again, thanks for the photoshop!

I agree with you.....the darker colors look really small on your car.
I like the classy silver look that you are leaning towards. I would go with that.
I like some of the others, but just like you said, they make it look like you pretty much don't have any wheel on there.

Keep us posted.
