groaning in front end?

groaning in front end?

Any help I have groaning and creeking in the front end of my 95 max se with 130,000 miles? Its makes noise when I push down on the bumper and also when I drive and work the suspenion. Any help thanks.

Groaning - sounds a lot like struts, but could be lots of other things.

To check your struts, push down (maybe with another person) on the whole front of the car. When you let go, it should go back to the resting position - but should NOT "bounce" up and down any...

hmm I have a similar groan coming from my front end as well, but only while braking gently/starting from stop, and always at low speeds, though the noise is not always there. Not sure what causes it though.
