Starter motor regrease..What kind of grease?

Just as the title of this post states; What kind of grease should be used when re-greasing the starter motor? I re-build mine and used white lithium grease, but, should I have used something else? It's been about a month and I have had no problems, I just want to make sure this grease won't gum up.

i read on a previous post that you need a high temp grease. i don't know whether white lithium counts as high temp.
