security is screwed

security is screwed

are all 95 maxima's equipped with the security option?
cuz when i stick my key in more than 10 times consecutively, the blinkers don't flash.
is there a problem?
what am i facing?

The GXEs didn't come with keyless entry and security unless purchased with the comfort and convenience package...

If you have keyless entry, you have security - you can't have one without the other...

Do you have keyless entry?

the car has something that says security on it, but still i can't program a remote.
someone said something about a module being in the trunk. i don't know how true it is.

Check out this website - it refers to a relay that is used to flash the blinkers when you enable the alarm .. see if you have the relay... might tell you if you have the security package or not.

I'm not sure... maybe someone else can help... that flasher relay should only be present if the car had the factory security system installed (at least thats what I thought)... If I think of something else I"ll post back.
