Hey everyone...

I already posted this in the General Chat Forum, but I thought I'd post it here too!!

I picked up my '97 SE on Saturday...and I already washed it and took some pics.

Here's the link:
http://nrb1225.homestead.com/newmax.html

Some of the pictures got messed up, but I'm going to be taking new ones and putting them on a whole new website soon, so stay tuned.

My only complaints about the car so far are that I need new centercaps and the push open storage tray on the center console keeps popping open (Like, if I close the glove box a little hard, or touch the power outlet hard, it just pops open). Anyone know how to fix that?

Any questions, comments, concerns, compliments, or complaints are welcome.

Thanks,
-Nick

Nick,
Looking good How many miles? Dare I ask how much? Bought my 97 SE (5sp ) a little over a year ago. 49K, super condition just over 15K. Center caps, jup I need new ones too. Talked to the local dealer and he wanted about $27-30 each. Jeeeeezzzzz! Anybody out there find em cheaper?
Good luck with the ride. Subscribing to this forum you'll get the mod bug like the rest of us. Man, wish my torque wrench would come in and my diamond cut clear corners. Then I could do some business

I've been on this forum for a while now (You notice my title is Maximaniac!!)...In fact, I go back as early as Chad's BBS!! I was only a lurker then. I've had my '92 GXE for a little over a year...now I bought this.

The car has 52k miles and I bought it for $15k...and it's been worth every penny so far!!

Yes, thought I saw an older max in the background of your picture. Your paint looks great. Nice shine. Do you use an electric buffer or just elbow grease? Anyone got a sure fire way to clean out the very ends on the SE rims? Drives me crazzzy! No toothbrushes just don't work.
Love my 97!!! Upgrade here, upgrade there and it will be purrrrfect. As one of the other guys says, "so many mods, so little money"

Actually, those pictures were taken after I washed it. The previous owner had it detailed right before he sold it to me so I just washed it because it was raining on the way home from picking it up. I just snapped some more new pics with a better camera...I'll have them up by the end of the week.

Later,
-Nick
