bose speaker out (audio sec. can't help)
Hi, I try to ask this on the aidio section but no one replied.
So, I hope people on the 4th can help me on this.
My 95 rear left side (driver side) Bose speaker stoped working a for a few weeks now.
does any one know why could this be happening.
before it went dead, it would ramdnly turn of for a few seconds. (the spearker only)
Is there any way I can check if it is the wires , or the speaker it self that broke.
Thanks for any replies

Prolly the amp. Bose has an amp built into each speaker, they're notorius for dying like that. Either replace the speaker, or install a new system. On a side note, I,ve noticed lately that basic audio Q's seem to get ignored. Some of us are not into the latest, greatest multi-amped and super-subbed systems. Or Navi's, x-boxes, t.v.'s and whatever else. Some of us just want a nice, basic system and post because WE DON'T KNOW and need help!

Most definitely the amp on that speaker. When is comes on it plays for a sec until it gets to full load. Those amps MAY have 2 fuses (one for power-on and one for constant), and the secondary is gone. Pull off the amp cover and check.
