Hey guys, I bought my car used with 36K last year, and the previous owner had put all highway miles on it in Michigan (good for engine etc........bad for front end paint) there are SO many chips and scratches from rocks and such in the front end, down near the bottom of the bumper...it even has a whitish tint and is all rough...rest of car is fine....would it be smart to get the hood, front bumper, and side fenders repainted....or what else should I do...anyone with this experience please help....anyone know what cost would be around for re-paint.....thanx so much

You can buy a bra which will protect your front end and will also cover up the scratched paint. I don't think it would be worth repainting the front end unless it's really bad.

oh it's bad, wax gets into all the chips on the hood, so there's a bunch of little white dots, looks so ugly, I really don't like bra's that much or else I would get one. Thanks for the advice though!
