tapping into the bose system??
ok, I got an infinity amp, and eclipse sub... I used to have a HUGE sound system in my rx7, but I like the BOSE system, and I don't want to get an aftermarket head unit yet... my question is, can I tap into one of the speakers, and use an audio converter (speaker wire-RCA), and hook that up to the amp?? I noticed 4 wires going into the rear speaker, 2 of those has got to be the signal, right?

I love the Bose system 2. I have my deck out now to have it Totslly Rebuilt like new for $160.00 because my LCD went out so the guy is gonna take it a step further and rebuild the entire deck for me. To answer your question about hooking up a sub with amp to Bose system. My nephew hooked up a 12" sub with a nice box and amp to my Bose system. I really like the Full range that the Bose has but the Bass a lacking so now it sounds Awsome!! Hope this helps you out.
