Neon Undercar Kit Install Help

Does anyone have an undercar light kit on their 4th gen? I've had one laying around for almost a year (the one with two 48" and two 36" neon tubes). The only problem is that I don't know how to install it so that the lights themselves can't be seen...i just want a slight glow under the car. Does anyone know where to put them so that they're invisible from outside?

Just don't put that crap on your car.
That is the best way for them to be invisible.

i have a kit i won at an oppening of a car shop and i want to install mine when i have time. i heard this question asked before and the general consensus was that they can be installed but not much can be done to hide the tubes. i h8 it when the tubes are totaly visible and it just looks tacky.'
i have a 7 color LED kit and want it installed just for ****s and giggles, the 2 colos ill focus on is green (since my car is green) and white.

good luck with your install man, do what makes you happy don worry about making everyone else happy.

Led kits will not be that bright. the tubes are known to shine brighter.

best bet is to have a shop install them, but for the most part, the tubes will still be visible. There isn't much room under our car to install it properly, and if you're car is lowered and you live in an area with bad road conditions, these babies are gonna crack crack crack splat!

the only way to hide all of the kit, is if you have a body kit on.

I've had white ones sitting my basement for about a year or two. I just can't decide whether I want to install them or not. I got white, because I figured it would be the least "ricey." But I'll probably install them sometime soon, just to see how they look. I think if the bulbs could be hidden, the white underglow would actually look kind of classy, but I could be wrong. There's only one way to find out...

do you have the funny u shaped brakets. you can get different brackets from hardware store.used for hanging pipe that will flush mount them. raises them up a lil bit but i haven't done a maxima so i don't know if it fully hides the bulb.
