Spark Plugs?

Who makes the best plugs for a 99 maxima se?

NGK. Only use NGK plugs in the Maxima. Use platinums if you don't want to replace them often; otherwise, use coppers (much cheaper). Replace platinums every 60K miles, replace coppers every 30K miles.

Use the NGK Coppers....part number.....BKR5E-11

Get the plats if:

*you don't want to change your plugs frequently
*you don't mind paying 10x as much as coppers

Get the coppers if:

*you're running nitrous
*you want to save some cash
*you don't mind changing your plugs twice as often

If you get coppers you will save an @ssload of money plus a colder sparker is always good.

Well, not always. You don't want to get the BKR6e-11 or anything (unless your boosted). I didn't know coppers coppers where colder than plats?
