o2 simulator

my o2 sensor went bad, i ordered a new one, but i need to go on a long trip this weekend so i dont want to empty my wallet because of the gas expenses, anyone have the instructions for the oxygen sensor simulator?

1-Which O2 sensor? A sim is good only for the rear (post cat) sensor.

2- the sim is not something you can build, unless you are an electronics engineer, and you have components under your hand. It is a module you splice-in in lieu of the normal 02 sensor.

3- you wont decrease gas mileage that significantly to make a big difference. My guess is maybe 5-10% increase gas consumption. If you already ordered the O2 sensor, wait for it to be delivered and installed.
