O2 simulator

O2 simulator
I've read a little bit about these and thought this may be a way to go in getting rid of the SES light, rather than adding bungs and extending the O2 sensor wires, as I believe the wires to be pretty sensitive and well this simulator theory seems more logical.
Some cars do in fact have bundled with their aftermarket set of headers, O2 wire extension "kits". Pretty cool, but I guess we just have to either live with a SES light, bung it or try one of these simulators.
Is anyone using one of these universal simulator kits with their header or y-pipe set up, or are most of us just extending the exsiting wires? If some of you are using these simulators, I read that adding the "dual version" is the best, being that there are 2 O2's (duh ) monitoring the pre-cats in the 3.5 and DEK, snot 100% sure on the DEK though.
What brands/type do you suggest and also, do most of these have a harness ready to plug into the one on the car, or will they have to be spliced and manually wired in using the 3-wires already wired into the exsiting harness on the car like this unit here ---> O2 Sim.

the four plugs are located underneath your engine cover at the front of the car, behind the radiator

tried extending the wires to behind the cat. I still get codes, it's weird but only thrown from one. So i went with the 02 simulator recently. Let's see if it does its job. I opted for the dual version from 02simulator.com.

I got emissions to take in 3 weeks, I just ran a diagnostic check on my Maxima tonite, and I got no codes- almost a year now, and according to the ECU, READINESS CODES are ALL SET, even the CAT OPERATION is complete- funny thing is, my car came with 3 cats from the factory (2 pre cats and one main cat) and its Cali spec, I have no Rear oxygen sensors installed even -on my car, and not a single cat. I'm going to see if I will pass the emission test- they only check for codes in my state Hopefully they are not going to check the codes with the car runing, cause it DOES smell pretty bad. Numb nuts at the emissions test stations can't tell what is, put some RACING gas in the tank and the **** will smell really nice www.o2simulator.com works, I was the 1st one to pioneer this on the .ORG and I highly recomend it for anyone with oxygen sensor codes like P0430 or PO420 codes.
