2002/2003 pathfinder steering wheel

I know that the 6cd changer from the 02 pathfinder fits perfectly and works great in the 95-99 max, and i was wondering if it was possible to use their steering wheel as well to get the controls on the steering wheel? is this hard to do or not worth the time??? what do you all think? im sure that I can pick up the steering wheel at a junk yard... will i have a problem becuase its a different air bag? what do you all think?

You're just basing this because we can use a cd changer from the car? If it's a double DIN of course it will fit. We can't even directly swap steering wheels between 95-96 and 97-99. The air bags are different and cost like a thousand bucks.

what you said is not intirely true. the 2002 and 2003 bose are also double din, but they do not fit, they are shaped differently. my buddy tried a 2002 and it didnt fit, so he got a 2002 pathfinder and it was fine... as for the steering wheel no one has tried this yet.

im pretty sure it will be costly if at all possible, as i remember a thread a while back about switching bewtween a gle to a se wheel, and also one about 95/96 to 97-99, but i dont think either was done because it wasnt worth the cost with all the rewiring and air bag issues
