is it possible to drop a 99-03 skyline engine into a maxima???

With enough money, anything is possible. Personally, I'd rather build up the VQ than swap it for an RB. Yeah, the RB engine is incredible but it's also dated.

THT is on drugs, I'd put a RB in the max in a SEC if I had the money
98 sterling, why doesn't it make sense? Like a fwd car could never be converted to AWD?

It's not worth the money to swap engines. IMHO. Just stay with the VQ

If I had the money, I would do it too. But then again, why not just buy the Skyline? I love my 4th gen but:

its not a maxima anymore. new tranny, new engine, new axels, new a ****load of stuff. everything in your engine bay will have to be replace. new ECU...need i go on. yes anything is possible, but not everything is practical even for a rich person.

new handle, new blade, same old axe.

If I had $60k, I'd just drop a 4th gen body over a skyline chassis and be done with it.
