Seat broke, can this be fixed?

Ok, so lately the power driver's seat in my 98 max has felt loose in the front left corner (if you are sitting in it) and yesterday I heard something break and then it got really loose. Anyway, I looked down there, and the nut that is welded onto the big bottom metal piece of the seat ripped right off and the bracket was just hanging there with the bolt still in the nut and a mangled metal piece of the seat attached. I can't see really well in there, but do you guys think I could get that nut welded back on so I could reattach that bracket? If so, how much? Has this happened to anyone else?

I'm not really sure how this happened. I'm not a fat a$$ or anything. I'm only 20 and I weigh 170. Heh.

But how tall r ya? 20, 170, and...it sounds like wear and tear or just a faulty nut!<---rephrase this?

The rails for the seat are held down by 4 bolts. (Had to remove my seat recently to install an amp under there.)

No nuts involved. (no pun intended)

Are you saying the top part of one of the bolts broke off and the screw part is still stuck in the hole?

I'm talking about the nut welded into the metal seat "frame" I guess you could call it. It's like the big metal piece that supports the cushion. In the front left corner there is a nut that is welded into it, and a bolt that goes up through a bracket and into the nut. The metal around the nut actually broke and the nut is no longer connected to the metal frame part. I might be able to take a picture if it helps.
