The guy at the shop that made it told me that most of the hondas were puttin 2.5 on their cars and he told me since I had a bigger motor that I need a bigger cat back.

i had bought an obx muffler for my honda when the stock stuff rusted through and guess what... it sounded like a honda. Once i had some spare money i replaced the OBX muffler with an OEM one but all together i had OBX headers b-pipe and stock muffler.
The build quality was good but there is no getting around the natural sound that honda motors make. Maxima's are a different beast, you could run b-pipe only and it would still sound deep and be relatively quiet.
i didnt listen to the clips above my post but i would guess that they sound respectable. i personally have a cattman muffler with everything else being stock and love it but for about $300 less you might want to try the OBX. If you didn't end up liking it i am sure you could find a buyer relatively easy
