the light on my switch is out, but the switch itself is fine...are you sure the switch is broken?

maybe it's just the light...

Flo boy, it IS just the light, i Checked it out last night and the seat got warm. How the hell can the light go bad, i mean, how often does it see current go through it? Hardly ever! Is it a bulb or led thats in there? Can the light be swapped out? Thanks. And BTW- does the switch just pry out of the console?

Yes you can just pop it out. On my 95 I have a coin holdfer thing in between both switches, I just pop that out and push up on the switch unless from under.

I believe it's an LED.
IIRC, you CAN change it, but, it's high on the P.I.T.A. factor...

its a regular incandescent bulb on a rubber base like all the other interior lights in the car. I replaced mine with red LEDs. I still have some bulbs that would fit i think.
