I think Mike was the only place offering them...
You may want to check on some Sentra/200sx boards for some other companies. Maybe someone else makes them if you're lucky.

I guess my set would be worth more if I decided to sell them

....NOT

I wouldn't gives these up for twice their original price...

That sucks if they don't have them anymore. I need some of these when I do my suspension.
I have heard they make the difference of night and day in your ride. You just have so much more suspension travel.

Sounds like an oportunity for someone here with a metal band saw and milling machine with indexing head to knock off a few for the org.

$20+- for an original mount from Courtesy to use as a template, a few feet of 4"? 6061 T6 bar stock @ $5.00/lb, a little ingenuity and some time on their hands.

If only ....

that's a really good idea, for somebody w/ the right resources, this project shouldn't be too bad. maybe matt93se might want to tackle this project? i've bought from him before and i feel his products are good quality, plus he's the first one that comes to mind when custom producing things for our maxima community.

Someone hit me up the other day about ones for the 5th gen as well... I'll take a look at them when I get a chance and see what I can do.

I've got a list of other parts I want to work on before that, but it is on the list.

I don't want to sound like a jack *** but here I go... My brother in-law had the protoype for the 200sx ser from Motoivational a while ago. He said they were GREAT! that they were worth every penny. But I have a few questions about them if you all don't mind. Frist I know that they a struts that have been shortend to allow more travel, but what type of strut so they start with is it a after market like a GR2 or is it an adjustable like a AGX? and has anyone ever tryed to set up a GD? Hey that was just my $.02. But I don't want to step on any toes here If a fellow ORG member can do it I would rather my money go to him over someone else.

I think you're mixing things up. What you're talking about is this:

What we're talking about is this:

yeah, what we are talking about gives you that extra inch or so of extra suspension travel back that you normally lose from lowering your car.

I just emailed Motivational. They said if a GD can get moving Mike will make em. $165 + shipping though. I'd be in, but then we need 9 more people.

What?!
The rear strut mounts used to be like $100.
I would be in for that, but not more.

I might for a "Blemco" version to come out.

They cost more now because they have to do them in small batches. Matt, can you make something as good without sending it out to a machine shop? How much would you estimate the cost would be for a pair, and how long until you can start making them?

yeah, because if they are as important as most say they are, I will be needing them before I put this suspension upgrade that I have sitting in my garage on.

I'm just going to put my Illuminas/TEINs on this weekend anyway. It's less than a 1.5" rear drop anyway. Also, my buddy (broaner22) has been lowered on Progress for a long time without these things and says he has never noticed a need for more rear suspension travel. So I will put on my new springs and struts, see how I like it, and then get the rear strut mounts if I decide they're necessary.

Just put your suspension on, Bruce. It's not that hard to take on and off and I have a feeling it's going to be at least a month or two before Matt starts making these.

hey, it would only take you like 5 minutes per corner to drop the strut/spring and install the new mounts...

just install your stuff now, then if/when you get mounts, slap them in.

is it really that easy? if so, i may just install my suspension now, and put the mounts on when they're available. there are actually group buys going on now for b14 ($125) and b15 ($165) mounts on an sr20 forum, but i dont' know which ones we need for our cars.

Jack up car, take off rear wheels, undo four bolts per side, put on and tighten spring compressors, remove top center bolt, remove spring/strut assembly, and switch the mounts. Then reverse the steps to put it back. I think it's that easy. Check the procedure on this how-to: http://www.vqpower.com/v2/modules.ph...howpage&pid=69

if matt93se is reading this, do you think this will be something you can do and if so do you have an estimate of long will it be before you have a product for us? i'd just like to know since the b14 mounts r going for $135 on a sentra forum, right now, which im debating whether to get in or not. thanks.

It's a freakin metal plate with 2 holes in it. Anybody with access to a drill could make them in 5 minutes. Don't mean to sound like an ****, but they really are that simple. Easy money for anyone to sell them.

ya, if anybody here on the .org had the equipment to do this, i'd like to believe that the quality will be fine and that the price will be a lot less than what motivational is charging.
