All 95 Maximas are OBD-II

All 95 Maxima's are OBD-II, but on most other cars 95 was OBD-I and 96+ was OBD-II

all 4 gens are obd-II but.. some 95's are obd-I

how can you tell if it's OBDI or OBDII. I'm pretty sure the data link connectors are the same, it's the amount of pins and the use for them. the only way that i know to tell is taht if it was OBDII, it would be on the drivers side under the dash, unlike mine which is is on the passenger side behind the kick panel on the right.

Theres always a sticker under the hood of every vehicle....but just incase, theres always something else mechanical to separate them...ie. one having more o2 sensors than the other or some other stupid way to tell
