Cooling fans not turning on

Ok so I was playing with the car today, and accidently touched a grounded wire to the positivie terminal. Now the cooling fans don't seem to turn on. The 2 fuses under the hood look good.

I don't know for sure that the fan problem started today, but I have never seen my car go over 50% on the temp guage and today it was up at like 75%, anyone have any ideas where to look next?

ECTS? the fans themselves?

Thanks.
Del

It might be a fan "module". My dads car did the opposite....fans kept running after the car was off.

I dunno if Max's have them, his Buick does though.

Check the fan switch relay's. Here is a thread posted by Jime. He has a diagram of the relay's. Also I think (VQ35.com) has pictures of the relay's also. You may have damaged one of them.

I swapped out the relays with other ones in the car... I should know today if it works or not.
