could be your Oxygen sensor...its telling your ECU the wrong info...common maxima thing...or you might just need a tune up. try some good quality fuel injector cleaner

Ha! What are your rpms like when you do this? I bet you are hitting some sort of fuel cut off, cause the rpms are high and the car dosent want you to damage anything.

An o2 sensor should give you a CEL so unless you have a CEL on, I would rule out the o2 sensor thing.

the rpms r at about 2000 and they kinda liek bump like from 2000 to liek 2100 so its not a rev limiter or ne hting

Do they ever go over 2100? If not then I am 99% sure its a rev limiting fuel cut off.

I have expierenced the same problem, and its still there somewhat. At 2,500RPM my car has a slight hesitation. And it gets even worse when I'm about empty on fuel. I ran some Sea Foam through the fuel. That seemed to help a little.

Then I dumped in 2.5 gallons of 110 octane. That really seemed help out a lot. My car feels more powerful after all of it ran through. I would like to know whats wrong as well, I may just need a tune up.
