coolant pressure

My cap is rated at .9bar too which does equal 13.0psi. Like you mentioned though I'm a little worried running 33% more pressure on my system which has 100K on it. According to the following 50/50 coolant mix boling pt is about 223deg at rel baro pressure. Maybe 260ish with our stock caps. http://autorepair.about.com/cs/cooli.../aa081101a.htm

I rarely see over 200deg temps myself so maybe the stock system is enough? Anybody want to verify my math and our stock boiling points?
