As to the point made before about the muscle cars... My uncle had a trans-am a while ago. It looked just like the Night Rider car. It was black with gold. Really a beautiful car and it was far from stock. It wasnt an auto but it did 175 to 180 in Greece. The roads there are flat and beautiful... Kinda like Italy where speed limit really isnt enforced and you can go as fast as you want to. Ive been in the car when he hit 165 or so on the way to 6-flags in Jersey. All he said is that the secret is in the tranny.

And i almost crashed... rush hour crept up on me and the other guy i was racing

But i never turned off O/D and i have a GXE...

BTW i thought the governors were at like 120 or 118 on all maximas?

i was trippin when i got that fast.. cause i didnt realize it lol, i was just waiting for the "governor" to kick in.. then i loooked down and was SMASHIN lol


What GXE's didnt come with governors? were they the first batch? supposedly when they were still manufactured in japan, i think like the first half of 95? correct me if im wrong...im assuming this would a be a legitamit ((spelling)) reason...

i've done about 120 no problem on my way 2 vegas w/ just a forced air ramp =D homemade style! se baby! made it 2 vegas in 4.3 hours
