Those with carbon fiber hoods (a little help please).

I just received my VIS oem style hood. I was putting it on, and the holes didn't line up real well on the mounting brackets. I had to drill out one of the holes on the passenger side a little bigger to get the bolts in. Now, it looks good on the drivers side, but the passenger side has a big gap between the hood and the fender. It get's bigger on it's way down towards the headlight. How do I adjust this? Did anyone else have these same problems? Also, what do I do for a hood prop? Thanks.
