Verdict on Greddy SP2 catback…

I understand that this catback is now out for 97-99 maxima’s, correct? Does it sound any different when compared to the original Greddy SP catback? A while back I have heard that it was supposed to drone less, but I don’t know if that is true or not. I believe that is no different than the SP, except that it is all stainless steel, but I am mainly wondering if it sounds any different. The SP1 was my favorite sounding exhaust for the maxima, it sounded really deep and powerful when at WOT, but seemed fairly quite and not obnoxious when just cruising around, although it seems to have a rep for being a loud exhaust. Sorry if this has been covered many times, but since I cannot search, I went back about 20 pages and only found two topics on it, that did not answer my question, so it does not seem it is posted everyday.

A sound clip would be great if you could get one man. I have a sound clip of the Greddy SP with a Budget Y-pipe on my computer and I think it sounds great. So its not out for 97-99's yet, I thought it might be as it is advertised on Redlinemax.com. Any other comments from 95/96 owners have the SP2 welcome.

Probably not too long - especially if you know what your doing.

Please post some sound clips - though I'm really waiting for the 97-99 model, it will still be helpful

Cranjner, did you get the exhaust on? If so how do you like it and how does it sound?
