Painting Rear Bumper

I really scratched my bumper today. As I was reversing into a parallel spot in front of my house, I hit a stupid 3-foot vertical rock sticking out of the ground by the curb. You can't see the stupid f*cking thing as you're pulling in! I knew I would hit it sometime...

Anyway, in addition to the old gash on the other side of my bumper, I now have a newer, deeper one. I figure now is a good time to get both repaired. Does anyone know how much it costs to paint a rear bumper? Who's the cheapest/best? Is it possible to spot-treat these two gashes? Can I do it myself? I'm looking to spend as little as possible, but I still want it to look good. Or at least better...

Thanks in advance.

I'd say $150-200. If you want to do it yourself just get an air compressor, HVLP paint gun, primer, and paint from the dealer.

Or you simply get on the ebay and order a matched painted bumper cover for about 175 shipped and get out side with some tools..

This ebay company is the best.

replace bumper?

I got a couple estimates today... $500 and $600. I wouldn't pay that much even if I could afford it... and I certainly can't afford it. I'm thinking about buying a painted bumper on eBay. Could someone please post directions on how to replace the bumper cover?

Or does anyone have any other suggestions...?

Here's another ebay company, $179 + $65 S&H, but that's for a front bumper cover. In the description, it says "We can get just about anything. If you don't see what you are looking for, just ask!" I don't know anything about them, but I will need to get mine painted or replaced eventually.
