Bose Radio Volume Control Problem

Has anyone else had a problem with the Bose system to where you try to turn the volume up and it goes down and visa versa. Or when you try to increase the volume it won't respond?

Thanks for the help.

Yes, happens to me all the time. I read dust gets behind the **** and messes things up, I will get my Air Duster and see if that helps, I will post results later.

yes many of us have tat **** including me. use a coupla of bottles of compressed air sold at best buy/office depit. they are about 7 bux each which is too expensive IMO. so what i did was that i went to my local gas station and paid for the air to inflate the tires but instead i used it on the volume ****. turn it and force the **** towards the steering wheel and keep turnin and turning. do this for about 3-4 min which equals to about 2 bottles of compressed air. this fixed the problem by 70%. and i didnt waste almost $15 on compressed air

hint: always push the **** towards steering wheel and turn, this makes things easier

I tried, but the problem is still the same. Any other ideas?

Take it apart and clean it.

Mine does the same thing. Nothing too annoying, just every once in a while it turns up the volume as soon as I touch the ****.

I'll fire up the air compressor and see if that doesn't help.
