anyone else regret making the door pillars body color?

oh forgot to mention that i dilluted it with a lil water but it was still strong enough to remove the adhesive. the clearcoat looks as if it has been untouched. i even polished the trunk after and everything felt smooth and looked glossy and all. i buffed and waxed and now the trunk looks as if it never had the emblems at all

Goo gone + 1 micro fiber towel then wax. It definitely helps if the doors are warm in getting the glue off.

As far as the alcohol, I tried 90% Isopropyl, but who knows maybe the denatured will do the trick...good tip.

I found that goo gone did absolutely nothing as well. Actually, of all the chemicals it was one of the worst.
