when adding a tranny cooler what features do i have to look up any kit in particular any brand does they comes with fittings? links welcome

thats what i do research i just don't buy the first thing i see i want to buy the best thing for my money thanks anyway

 

i got one, i tink its haydene or sumtin like dat, its the secret for keepin niisans trannys alive longer

 

i saw some of those hayden coolers at my local auto parts stores and thinking of installing one. can you notice any increase in performance or is it mainly a preventive mod?

Hayden is one of the premier companys regarding coolers. The only other company that I would consider would be B&M.

This mod is preventive to ensure long transmission life. A tranny cooler such as the Hayden model# 403 can reduce transmission tempatures up to 70 degrees.

 

i have a imperial, made by hayden, got it at advance autoparts. one thing i did notice as far as performance is that it seems like it takes a little longer to warm up on cold mornings, ie the shifts are a little rougher for a bit longer.

Get the Hayden 403 or 404. I have the 403.

 

looking at jcwhitney i saw the b&m brand price is between 50-80 depending on size i think i'm buying it thanks a lot guys.
