spilled fuel while changing fuel filter

I didn't catch all of the fuel that came out of the hose, and some fell down into the engine bay, how long should I let it sit and/or should I rinse it off before starting it and driving again.

If you can see it - then you can wipe it off get under the car if you have to, but get a rag and get/soak as much off as possible... the rest will evaporate in a few hours - leave the hood open maybe...

It should be okay.
I mean, that stuff will evaporate right off.
If you get it on you, it is the same way.
