Has anyone done this or know if it is possible?
I tried the search feature but came up with nothing.
Maybe the 01 6 speed would be better, since it did come behind the 3.0.
Anyone?

01 never had a 6spd. only 02 +
but yeah there was a member that swapped his tranny with a 6spd one. I just don't rember his SN

 

Jeff from Maximum Tuning did it, but he said its not worth it, too much work.

 

My bad, just when you think you know everything!
So the 6-speed only came with 3.5?
That does confuse matters. The 3.5 is so different in small ways, such as cable shifter and different clutch/flywheel.
You guys are right, it may not be worth it.
I'm kinda determined to find out though.
