Should I buy this 99 GLE with 60k miles for $9000?

It has the standard GLE equipment. Plus

REAR SPOILER ABS SUNROOF

Has 60k miles on it and a clean carfax.

The right front fender look a little beat but the worst case scenario for that is new fender and paint. I could just buff most of it out and do alittle touch up and be fine.

It's the second owner. First owner was a lease. It will no doubt need brakes and tires soon but I can't say whether it will need anything major.

If I can get it for $8500 and buy an extended warranty on it for around $500 that would be a fairly good deal, right?

I'd also have to go get the car and it's about 400 miles away.

Opinions?

I'd say thats a fair price as far as a 99GLE w/ 60k Miles. Just make sure you test drive it, check the CEL for codes, look over the car thoroughly. Goodluck.

Some people beat on lease cars becuase they know they aren't going to keep them for long.
My advice, check it out thoroughly. Look for parts that would show it was dealer maintained. That way you know anything major was always taken care of.
An extended warranty is a good idea.
