dash removal?

I was wondering if any one knows how to get the dash peice, where the cassete deck is, in the 95-99 maxima, off. I was workin on putin a cd pplayer in and the peice was not comming off, the 93' model was just clips and popped off. Are there screws behind it? Or do i just need to pry the peice off real hard with a screw driver?

on the 4th gens, u have to first pry off the top vents then the after that is off you take off the trim surrounding the shifter. take out the ash tray with the one screw that holds it in and then you will see 4 screws, two near the tops vents, and two near the ash tray, after you remove those, the whole console slides right out.
Here [more in depth]:

Pull the vents out, pull the shifter trim out (at least on 5spds, prob about the same on an auto). Then start taking out screws until everything comes apart. I think this is covered in a faq someplace which would probably have a better/more detailed description.

*edit* looks like I took too long to type that...oh well
