Yea that big bolt is a mother.... to get off. If you cant get it off with a compressor... I dont know. Unless you wanna get a breaker bar and sit on it

What the heck?

If you really did use a 100 psi compressor and it didn't come off, best call a tow truck and go to an auto shop and let them do it.

I just used a breaker bar and both bolts came right off.

I used an 18" break bar and pulled like hell! You can also use a piece of pipe on the break bar handle to increase leverage.

I slipped a 3 foot long piece of 3/4" steel water pipe ($4 at home depot) over the end of a breaker bar, pulled like hell on that and the 17mm finally gave way. It made a loud crack and I thought i'd broken the socket but it was just the bolt breaking loose. I put some anti seize on the threads going back in, and a little Caig Labs Preserv-it on the terminals.
