fix motor or replace

hey guys i have a dilemma. i did a compression test last week on my 99 supercharged max w/82k miles and discovered that two of the cylinders had very low compression numbers. i added a lil oil into the spark plug hole and did the test again...and the numbers increase significantly. im pretty sure this means its my piston rings that are fried.

ok so heres the question, get the motor fixed or replace the motor. wut would be the approximate costs for each and which would be cheaper and better in teh long run??

thanks
