Would anyone be interested in a COMPLETE HID install write up?

It would be hella bi-xenon projectors into a 97 Maxima. Complete wiring and hackup of the headlight.

So... anyone interested?

Ok now does maxima.org host pictures permenantly or something? I can host them for a while but if they wanted to make a FAQ out of it for use forever then they should save the pictures. I got the wiring done today, so the only thing left is to install them in the headlights. Should be a couple weeks max.

Cardomain is awful. I refuse to use it. Not to mention the pictures I will be taking are coming from a 5mp Minolta camera. Large file sizes.

Interested. My 9004 8600K HID kit could use a new lease of life in a projector setup...

I assume that parts listwould be included as well?

Excellent thanks. The pictures are going to be 1280x960 @ ~300k a piece. My idea was to have a web page where you would click a thumbnail to bring up the full rez pictures.

And to the guy *****ing about 1600x1200 pictures, how about I take them at 2800x1920?

I started taking pictures of all the wiring last night. I'm going to work on the write up for the wiring today.

Just to **** you off. If all you're going to do is ***** about the pictures being too big, I'll just scrap the whole idea. I'm not doing this half assed. Just get the hell out of the thread.

Hey if you can get a digi cam for the actual INSTALL of the bixenons into the 97 headlights that would be GREAT. Because I'm not going to be able to get them installed till probably next weekend at the earliest. So if you could scrounge up a camera that would help me tremendiously. I'll even do a rightup as long as you get me the pictures.

A 300k picture will take an average of 1 minute to load on a 56k modem. If you can't wait a minute, then you're not going to be installing HIDs.

Yea honestly I can't believe he's *****ing because he has to wait an extra maybe 5 minutes to download when it's a god damned complete writup. Want to trade the hours I put into to figuring out the wiring?

No problem. The wiring instructions are up. They're not 100% complete because I plan on drawing an actual wiring diagram and scanning it and putting it up on the site as well. Actual install INTO the headlights won't be done this weekend. Hopefully next weekend though.

Yea I'll be able to host these for a while. However if you want to add it to a FAQ on your website it would be great if you could host them permenantly. Thanks.
