My sp2 hangs just a bit lower than I'd like, and I can't find an online source for hangers to replace my rubber ones. Are they a universal part or application-specific?

A Google search of "polyurethane exhaust hangers" revealed this link:

yeah I found those too, but again are hangers universal? this page came from a wrx site.

 

Luckily, I have an 02 impreza rs which has similar exhaust layout as the wrx. I decide to test fit them on the max. Unfortunately, they do not fit because the holes are waaaayyyy bigger on the rs/wrx hangers. Most likely your hangers are all stretched out, so just replace them with new oem hangers and your good to go.
