a funny question
What's the most number of people you've had in your 4th gen Maxima at once--and driven somewhere? When I first got my last one ('95 SE), I was still in high school and decided to have people pile in as many as possible and drive up the street about a quarter mile to the grocery store. I had four across the back, with one laying on top of them with his feet out the window, one in the fetal position at the foot of the passenger seat, another in the passenger seat, and myself driving. I figure I had about 1,200 pounds of people, and the max load is supposed to be 900...oops. Don't go for a record folks, but I'm just wondering...has anybody topped 8 regulation-size adults in their even-greater stupidity?

On a related subject of tom-foolery, try driving thru a drive-thru restaurant in *reverse*. The passengers order, pay for, and then take the food. You get the *strangest* reaction from people when you do this!
Another one: When you drive down city streets, sometimes you encounter folks walking down the sidewalk solo with their backs to you. They are the only people around. As you approach them, toot your horn, and then begin waving to a phantom person on the *opposite* side of the street. When the walker turns around, they will usually begin to smile and wave. Then they are embarrassed to see you are waving at someone else. Then they are confused big-time at failing to see another person, anywhere. You can watch'em struggle through this complete range of emotions from your rear-view mirror. It is funny. And the more people you have in your car to help, the funnier it is!

hehe..here's a story I heard from my friend. I wasn't here to see it.
My friend's friend has a Tercel. Now that guy and a bunch of people had to drive down to downtown Toronto from Scaroborough. Not everyone could fit in the car. So one person was in the trunk..all the way from Scarborough to Downtown Toronto <that's a 40min ride>!
Then they got lost, so they pop the trunk and the guy gets out of the trunk and walks to the car behind and asks's that driver for direction. That driver was a total stranger..I can imagine how he felt seeing a guy pop out of a trunk!

Anyways we were headed to the mall and I see my trunk pop open with my friend in it! This was when we were driving through a crowded mall parking lot.
