Idle RPM.. and another q.
What's the rpm for an automatic at idle?
Mine seems really high... like 890ish...
It's been that way since my y-pipe.
Also.. there's a clanging noise from underneath the car when I start it up.
It also started since the y pipe... is this what they mean by "bees in a can"?
The sound goes away when the warms up... ideas?

at cold start my idle is at 1,500rpm
after couple minutes it drops down to 750rpm
if i turn on my a/c it goes up to 800rpm
but it doesn't really matter at all.
bees-in-the-can = leaking exhaust coming from a 4-banger engaging in vee-tek
