First and foremost, this is one of the ugliest suvs ever made. I know that this Vehicross is 4000 lbs and stock it has 215hp. However, we were side by side at a red light, and I look over and see an emblem on the quarter panel that read 3.5L supercharged. So I went for it. He was rolling at about 5mph before I even got my clutch out. He had my by about half a lenth (He did have the rolling start the cheating bastard) until I hit third, adn then I started to pull on him. When I got within a bumper of him, he let out. He had a nasty sounding exhaust too. When I got home, I looked it up. With a supercharger and a little exhaust work, it looks like these put out anywhere from 270 - 300 hp. Man was I shocked! At least I had him at the end.

vehicrosses are pretty cool acually......they look ugluy on the outside, but the inside they ahve facotry recaro seats, and alot of cool ****. and off road they can do some amazing stuff. defiantly do circles around jeeps.

It is really a shame that when someone posts a race thread to help other maxima drivers know what to look out for, that they just get ripped. If you don't like what you read, use your back arrow. If you are one of the many morons on this forum that has to flame everyone, you should probably find a hobby or a girlfriend. Race threads are allowed on weekends. If you read the thread again, (maybe I wasn't specific enough), I was ahead at the end of the race when the VEHICROSS let out because he knew that he was beat.

There are many SUVs out there that are afster than our maximas, morons.

I never once said anything about the Maxima being the fastest ride out there. I know that there will always be faster cars out there know matter what we do to our maximas. It is responses like most of these that has made me decide that most of you could care less about the maxima and care more about flaming people. Not that any of you care or any of you will miss me, but I have decided that ya'll have lost focus with this forum and I will not be posting anything to help out anyone.

 

By alot do you mean 2 or 3? The FX 45, porsche, and maybe the audi. Not sure of any others.

The Aztek has title of ugliest SUV. Other fast SUVs...ML AMG and X5 4.4i.

As for other SUV's then the ones listed, add the GMC Cyclone, Dodge Durango HEMI, and possible the navigator, expedition with the triton v8, maybe expedition, suberban, tahoe, and others. Possibly even the Pathfinder Armada. There are some fast SUV's out there! I just never expected an isuzu to be one of them. The whole point of this thread was to let everyone know that these are quick suv's and if you sleep on one, you will lose to it if you are close to stock.

never race SUV's simply because they are LOADED with torque and easily get a jump on u at start but then once u startin catchin up, they let off the gas right away. SUV racers are pu$$ies
