I know Silverstar bulbs suck, but what about other "brighter" white bulbs?

Yes, Sylvania Silverstars look great but have a frightening lifespan. And yes, the 9007 conversion is tempting, but what about other options? I just want a whiter headlight, not too blue and ricey, that doesn't use more power than factory, and actually lasts. I see Polargs and PIAA Extreme White bulbs advertised, and they look great, but cost between $45 - $60. Anyone tried them? Do they last?

I'm talking a lifespan of at least 2 yrs. How long have you had them? And are they a lot more white than they are blue or purple?

A lot of people have complained that the PIAA only last about 6 months but I think they have a 1 year warranty, dont quote me though I could be wrong. With any bulb brighter than stock, dont expect to get stock lifespan.

I also see that the Nokya 9004 runs at 80/100W, not 45/65W.
