What is the best thing to use to clean up the "goo" when opening up headlights?

What is the best thing to use to clean up the "goo" when opening up headlights?

If I get goo from the adhesive/seal on the headlights on the lens, what is the best thing to remove it?

Try heating it up with a heat gun (for like 5seconds) and pick it up with a q tip........... imo..........

I did the same thing on my tails!

No heat gun- I used the oven method...

denaturated alcohol is very good at rmoving goo, and adhesive and i doubt it would fudge up the lens
